Wine and Roses, Fenton

These smallish pitchers are referred to as cider pitchers. The set came with wine-type goblets. Only marigold pitchers were known until 1997 when a blue example turned up in the Pacific Northwest--and one sold at a Florida auction in 2001. Pitchers measure a little over 8 inches tall. The whimsied compote with ruffles at the left was made from the goblet.
